Generating Reports and Exporting Data

Produce a GHG Protocol PDF report in one click, export raw data to CSV or JSON, and understand what each report field contains.

Report Types

SusDevOS generates three types of output:

ReportFormatWhat it contains
GHG Inventory ReportPDFFull GHG Protocol disclosure (see below)
Project Carbon ReportPDFBiomass carbon, sequestration, net balance
Data ExportCSV / JSONRaw emissions records with all fields

GHG Inventory Report (PDF)

To generate:

  1. Navigate to Emissions → Inventories → [Inventory].
  2. Click Generate Report → GHG Protocol PDF.
  3. The report is queued, generated, and available in Reports → My Reports within seconds.

The PDF includes:

  • Cover page — entity name, reporting year, report date
  • Organisational boundary — consolidation approach, boundary notes
  • Methodology — emission factor sources (DEFRA, EPA, Climatiq), GWP dataset (IPCC AR6/AR5/AR4)
  • Scope 1 total with source breakdown
  • Scope 2 totals — both location-based and market-based
  • Scope 3 totals by category, with relevance assessment notes
  • Biogenic CO₂ — separate disclosure
  • Carbon offsets — validated credits and net position
  • Targets and progress (if targets are set)
  • Data quality assessment

Project Carbon Report (PDF)

Navigate to Projects → [Project] → Generate Report → Project Carbon.

Contains:

  • Land parcel map
  • Tree removal carbon stock calculations
  • Restoration sequestration projections (30-year)
  • Net carbon balance (removals minus sequestration)
  • Species and ecosystem summary (if biodiversity records exist)

Suitable for planning applications, Environmental Impact Assessments, and green finance documentation.

CSV / JSON Export

Navigate to Reports → Export Data.

Select:

  • Entity (defaults to active entity)
  • Date range
  • Scope filter (all, Scope 1 only, etc.)
  • Format (CSV or JSON)

The export includes all fields: activity quantity, unit, emission factor value and source, GWP value, calculated tCO₂e, scope, category, project link, and verification status.

Downloading Stored Reports

All generated reports are stored and available for re-download at any time from Reports → My Reports. Reports are not deleted when inventory data is updated — they represent a point-in-time snapshot.
